Kenneth Gregg (Born in 1947) was born in Los Angeles, California. This region really influenced his photography art. However, his love for photography career has taken him to some other beautiful places around the globe. He loved art from a tender age, and his parents bought him a box Brownie camera at the age of 10 years. The photographer strove to capture the locations that highlighted the natural beauty of California so his viewers could feel like they were part of the photo and feel like they were right there beside him when he was taking the photo. Just within one year after getting the box Brownie camera, Gregg had built a darkroom in the home basement. This is where he was developing and printing his own black-and-white images. He grew up in such a beautiful area that he just found himself enjoying how peaceful and calm nature is and the beauty that surrounded him. He knew for sure that would become a professional photographer and worked day and night to achieve this dream. The budding photographer became the photo-editor of his high school yearbook and newspaper. And in 1969, after graduating from UC Berkeley, he traveled worldwide for ten years as the catalogue photographer for The North Face outdoor equipment company. He left the company and then turned his artistic eyes toward pictographic photography of old California. Today, ready to hang framed Kenneth Gregg art adorn the walls of many buildings around the world. They are also found in many collections and galleries. Beautiful artwork by Gregg can also be found in many online stores.
