Marina Gilboa Art

Marina Drasnin Gilboa is an artist who was influenced into art by her parents' involvement in architectural works. She was brought up in Los Angeles, California, together with five siblings, with each of them ending up as an artist, working as photographers, architects or both. It's in LA where Marina grew up making art before going further to study art at the Tufts University from where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. She also studied at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts School for a period of 4 years. Marina also earned a diploma from the Sorbonne in Paris, France. She's a very versatile artist, whose professional experiences include design of wearable art, event and wedding coordination, colorization consultancy, interior design, and figure skating, working for the famous Walt Disney Company. She was also part of the production design team for "The Grifters," which won an Academy Award nomination. Marina continues to create art and is the Vice President of On a Shoestring, Inc. She produces art for cards and has her "Marina Collection" in Winn Devon Art Group Inc. and Canadian Art Prints. She's deeply into art because it provides her with a powerful way of self expression and is also moved by its reflection of nature. Marina’s art infuses several elements, including whimsy, joy, serenity, and beauty.
