Georgie Art

Most of her life Georgie has been involved in marketing and design but she always felt slight regret at the fact that she had not gone to an art school. However her break came in 2011, when she completed an MA in Digital Media Arts which in a way ironically, brought her back to painting and drawing. Her illustrations now involve the digital techniques mixed with traditional art of drawing. She has spent the last few years perfecting her technique of mixing illustration, particularly her fashion-inspired illustrations with her floral photography. Many of the results of this endeavor can be seen in her Portfolio. Currently she living in Brighton, UK, Georgie loves fashion-inspired illustration, elegant design, white space and florals. She loves her camera and takes it wherever she goes. And whenever she has any spare time in the course of the day, she loves to dig out her camera or draw. Georgie was raised on a diet of listening to old school Jazz, watching Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald, and Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire movies. All these continue to inspire her art. When she’s not being taxi driver, chief cook, maid, and taking care of her 3 children, Georgie works part-time in digital marketing. Her pieces of art mostly come as framed Georgie art which are ready to hang. Georgie loves natural beauty and can get enthusiastically ridiculous about the color of a petal, the texture of wood, the tone of the sky and the small details that some photographers can easily ignore.
