Tim Gagnon Art

Tim Gagnon (Born in 1980) was born in Northern Maine. His father worked for Loring Air Force base. When the base was closed, it forced the family to move away from Maine. When he was 12 years old, the family moved to Blackwood, New Jersey. He found this to be very intimidating to him since for so long he had lived in a small community. Within a few months of the movement, he began attending CW Lewis School. Gagnon slowly adjusted and found many opportunities that were not available to him before. An art club, his new school had art classes, and a lot of encouragement followed. In 1992, on Earth day, he participated in an art contest for his school that was taking place annually. He later found that he had won for his class. He was so encouraged and began to get so much engrossed in art. At the end of the school year, he found out that his family was moving back to Maine. Back to Maine, he lost some of the interest he had in art. He decided to focus more on sports. He played soccer, basketball, volleyball, golf, and baseball through high school. He also began dating. Gagnon had no extra time for art, and art took a back seat. He soon graduated, and was confused. He had no idea what he wanted to do in life. Later on he obtained BFA and after six years of attending school and working, he quit his job, and began to paint full time. The framed Tim Gagnon art today adorn the walls of many buildings.
