Malcolm Farley (Born 1957) started painting at the age of eight. In his formative years, Farley travelled the world with his family. Through these travels, he gained cultural perspectives of different communities around the world. He obtained his bachelor of Fine Arts from Metropolitan State College in Denver. As a scholarship athlete, he learned to combine his passion as a jazz saxophonist, and his athletic talents and with his education to produce high quality art. After receiving various awards in college and being introduced into the Hall of Fame, he chose the path of commercial artist, and became a connoisseur of many styles. Farley experimented with numerous mediums, settling on his intoxicating imagery and palette. His zest for life and ability to live in the moment has given him the passion to paint. He says that everyday and everywhere, there will always be images that are embedded into the consciousness of society that make people proud, amazed, or make them want to stand up and cheer. He adds that he will always be driven to bring that moment in time to life, and will always give thanks for being able to do so. Currently, Farley’s reputation as one of the true modern master painters has made him to be interviewed frequently on television and in print. As a result, he’s globally recognized for his portfolio of high-profile events which is ever-growing. Most recently, the artist unveiled 24 originals of the most memorable moments of major league baseballs at the World Series. Sponsored by MasterCard, this event is just one of the many joint partnerships that are occurring between Fortune 500 corporations, including Nabisco, Pepsi Cola, Time Warner, and the music and sporting worlds. Framed Malcolm Farley has also received much.
