Pablo Esteban (Born in 1988) was born in Mexico City. He was born in an artistic family. His father was a great artist in his hometown, Oaxaca. He could observe his father paint and could also do some work in painting; but he began serious work in art in 1999. In that year, he moved together with his family to the city of Leiden in the Netherlands, where he came into direct contact with the works of Karel Appel, Rembrandt, Mondriaan and Van Gogh, who were great Dutch Masters. In 2007 Pablo joined the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague and began to study graphic design. He graduated in 2010 with a solid goal: he wanted to become a recognized artist and to live from his art. A year later, his work took on new dimensions when he moved to Oaxaca, the hometown of his father. In his short stay in Oaxaca, Esteban has painted more than 500 works on paper and 250 canvasses - making him one of the most prolific artists in Oaxaca. Esteban is part of ‘Movimiento Los Monstruos’, the renown Oaxacan group, and has had group and solo exhibitions in places like the Mexican Senate, The Museum of Oaxacan Painters (MUPO), The Cultural Center of Contemporary México (CCMC), and The Institute of Oaxacan Graphic Arts (IAGO). His work has visited several countries, including the United States, China, Holland, Russia, Singapore, and Indonesia. He‘s participated in international fairs such as the Artemergente Bienale in Monterrey, the Miami River Art fair, and the Mexican Affordable Art fair 2014. He produces artwork in different finishing options including framed Pablo Esteban art.
