James Elliot Art

James Elliot (Born in 1850) was an artist who was known for landscape painting. His talent made him to receive orders from some of the most prestigious clients. Whatever he did, he liked to take a design approach to make the image look attractive. He was a painter, principally of Welsh landscapes. He created everything as a collection and a series or just as a series, and everything was intended to develop a life of its own. His art can be seen at the Lytham St Annes Art Collection and in many other collections around the world. His notable works include On the Gwyedd, Birch Wood in the Lledr Valley, On Snowdon, In the Valley of the Ogwen, Those Heavenly Hills All Veiled in Mist, Rain Clearing Off, A Quiet Spot for Contemplation, A Highland Loch, and The Last Rays of Sunlight, among others. Elliot exhibited at Kirklees Museums and Galleries, Williamson Art Galleries and Museums, and the National Gallery of Wales. His style allowed him to focus on large scale artwork based on his own environment and everyday objects. He used different techniques and styles to come up with a variety of products that were/are able to serve the varying needs of their clients.
