Ellen Clark has won many awards, including being named by the Society of American Travel Writers two times as a Photographer of the Year. She’s a travel writer and photographer based in Los Angeles - she specializes in travel photography. Ellen has been a traveler for as long as she can remember and she says she’s lucky that her career also involve a lot of traveling. After she graduated from college she spent 4 months traveling around Europe and was really inspired by what she saw; Ellen got hooked and has never looked back. Though in college she was an art major, her first job was in a travel agency very appropriate for her. The job gave her an opportunity to meet and interact with many people some of who have turned out to be her clients. About 2 decades ago she decided to try and turn her photography, travel and passions, into a business after spending several years as a graphic artist. She took an advanced course in photography and attended several writing classes which qualified her to begin submitting articles to various publications. These articles have been readily accepted and have helped to raise her profile. Her current markets include Travelscope magazine and blog, Global Traveler Magazine, Away.com, and Creator’s Syndicate, and she is represented by Danita Delimont Stock Photography, one of the leading stock photo agencies in the world.
