Stacy Dynan Art

Stacy Dynan (Born in 1970) was born and raised in Windsor Canada. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Windsor. After her graduation, she travelled to Australia and Europe where she lived for many years before moving to the United States. She now lives in the Bay Area, California. She discovered her desire to paint when she visited a small art gallery near her London home. That was way back in 1998. After viewing the art collection in the gallery, she got so inspired that she walked straight out of the gallery and into the nearest art store and bought her first tube of paint and canvas. She went straight home and created her first landscape that day – she had never held a brush before, but the painting looked great. That’s how her journey into creative expression and the world of art started. Today, she uses acrylic paint and other mixed media to investigate how color, texture, and shape relate to each other on canvas. She has become one of the most sought after artists in Canada and abroad. She uses her art to explore the relationship between transparent and opaque elements, applying the colors in dozens of layers to achieve a particular radiance and depth she desires in any piece of art. It is quite common to see framed Stacy Dynan art hanging on the walls of some prestigious galleries, museums and institutions all over the world. Her works incorporate the influences and inspirations of her life and are sold to collectors across the globe.
