Beverly Dyer Art

During her many years as a nurse, Beverly Dyer has experienced many intimate and profound human encounters and witnessed the most joyful and tragic of human circumstances. The experiences haves had distressing as well as beautifully positive effects on her as a person. As both an artist and a nurse, she understands the power of art as the creator as well as on the viewer. She dived into art as a way to relieve stress in her own life. And she confesses to have witnessed the effects of artwork on others. Her goal as an artist and a nurse is to maintain balance and health in order to fully participate on this journey of life. She’s the Chief Executive Officer at Beverly Dyer. Beverly studied at Millbrook High, and then proceeded to The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He currently lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Artistic expression through poetry and painting is health promoting and inspiring for her. She takes her experiences and translates them into activities that are creative in search of understanding and meaning. Sometimes she travels on a journey with her imagination and escape into a castle in the sky by painting away the hours for the sake and pure joy of it. She has a particular fondness for watercolors. She loves watercolor, the unpredictability, the way the brush moves smoothly across the paper, the element of surprise, and the fact that it lasts long without fading.
