Carmen Dolce was born and spent the early years of her childhood in Italy in the Tuscan region. She always wanted to impress her parents so she started to paint and draw the images her parents had described and all that she could remember from her childhood. The drawings and the paintings turned out to be so attractive that even her parents were amazed. Over the years of drawing and painting for her parents, she managed to accumulate many paintings that encouraged her to have a show. She was lucky to get a venue and the show was so successful that Carmen decided to start doing landscape paintings full-time. Today, her works fascinate many collectors and viewers, more so because they are made with the collectors and viewers in mind. The framed Carmen Dolce are in high demand and they can be seen hanging on the walls of some of the most prestigious buildings around the world. She creates images in which the figurative and the abstract blend very well with one another and in which the artistic elements come together in perfect harmony to bring balance. Her family moved to Sudbury Ontario, Canada when she was 12 years old. Here, her father got a job working in the mines. The northern Ontario’s terrain is greatly different from that of Tuscany and the winters can be bitterly cold, very long, and harsh. She could work on her art to drive away the cold and keep her busy.
