Mandy Disher consciously strives to create a visual impact of shape and color combined with elegance or beauty with a sense of tranquility or energy from something which is often quite an extremely and ordinarily popular subject. He loves the play between crisp detail and soft tones too. He enjoys using textures in some of his art. He really doesn’t know exactly what his style is, but thinks it is good to continually search for fresh ideas. He hates to feel that his work is becoming too predictable or stale so he tries to explore new possibilities all the time. Each time Mandy picks up a camera he wants to produce an image which will draw the viewer in and hold his/her attention. Many had always had an interest in photography since childhood, he remembers getting his first SLR camera many years ago, he loved the fact that he could have control over the depth-of-field and shutter and loved the quality of the picture the camera produced. His photos are precious reminders of happy events throughout his life and the people around him which he will always treasure. He was happy just to try to take a decent photo for the family album but then new technology arrived on the scene. At that time that’s all he wanted from his camera. Those who have purchased framed Mandy Disher art agree that they can be used to decorate any room; both adult’s and children’s rooms. It is very rare to find her without a camera in her hand.
