Bernadette Deming loved art from a young age. She has painted as long as she can remember and could paint on anything she could come across, including stones, when she was a child. At the age of 12, Bernadette participated in her first craft show and has been creating things since then. She was born and raised in New York where she resides to date. She lives with her thee children and husband, Marty, on a 100 acres pieces of land surrounded by wildlife. Bernadette has always strived to create images that capture the essential character and meaning of her subjects and go beyond the everyday façade. His passion for painting has become like an obsession, and this obsession-like passion has made her to be one of the painters whose pieces are most sought after by many collectors, especially framed Bernadette Deming art. Bernadette appreciates the happiness that her work brings to others and thanks God for the gift that He has given her. Bernadette enjoys decorating with bird nests, eggs and twigs and leaves, and things from nature. She prefers the simpler things in life and paints compositions that show a good sense of space. Bernadette likes to sculpt clay snowmen and Santas, but her true passion is painting. She enjoys painting with acrylics because of their ease of use. She tries to find whimsy and humor in everyday life and looks for inspiration everywhere. Bernadette’s best friend says that her paintings make her smile, and she occasionally tries to "steal" artwork when she comes to visit.
