Alfred de Breanski was born in London in a family of artists. Both his sister and brother, Julie and Gustave, were also painters. He loved art and everyone around him knew that one day he would become an artist. Starting artwork at such a young age provided him with the opportunity to learn a lot from other renowned artists. It has also provided him with the means to continually refine his technique. He was hard working and as years went by, he became a professional artist. In 1872, Breanski made his début at the Royal Academy where he exhibited until 1918. He also exhibited at the Royal Cambrian Academy and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters. Painting is his passion and what he loves best; all of his prints are large and are printed on high quality materials which make them quite ideal for framing. He is well-versed and extraordinary. Amongst his patrons were the Bishop of Petersborough and Sir James Lemon, JP. He was a distinguished landscapist who became famous for his resplendent views of the Thames, Wales and the Scottish Highlands. Breanski has great eyes and extra brains. He lived much of his life in Greenwich, Cookham, and Lewisham, and became a Freeman of the City of London in 1880. His inspiring paintings reach out to the heart and soul of all his clients. He is represented in several museums including the Laing Art Gallery, Newcastle upon Tyne and the Southampton Art Gallery. Framed Alfred de Breanski art are highly priced by many collectors due to their high quality.
