Dave Baranek is an artist from Jacksonville, Florida. This is the same place where he was born and grew up. In his childhood he liked to draw airplanes which he liked so much. He also used to put together kits of model scale airplane. Using the unique style that he developed in the course of his work, he’s able to carefully capture his subjects’ finer details in a manner that marvels his viewers. When he became a teenager, he set his sights on becoming a radar intercept officer or jet fighter pilot. In 1979 he entered the Navy and soon he joined his first squadron. He participated in the Reserve Officers' Training Corps to qualify for officer training Baranek and also studied at Georgia Tech. Baranek enjoyed a satisfying and successful career in the Navy – a career that took 20 years. Today, he’s represented by Stocktrek Images. Framed Dave Baranek art are highly priced by many discriminating collectors who have known that they are in high demand. They can be used to decorate any space, from the children’s room to the living room, and from private spaces to public spaces. Baranek has published articles in many magazines, mainly aviation magazines. To his delight, his images have made his a popular artist in several industries. Close attention to detail and elegance are the common threads that he weaves through his work and he hopes to continue creating images which stir a response as they speak to the viewer and also evoke emotion.
