Ann Dahlgren is an American award winning photography and fine art artist whose artistic works reflect the beauty of nature, including their shapes, forms, and functions. Her subjects are mainly floral, gardens, and several other elements of nature. Ann is from Fresno, California. She studied at the Brooks Institute of Photography and is also a graduate of University of California in Santa Barbara from where she earned degrees in Geography and Environment Studies. She's been balancing her work between Connecticut and New York since 1995 and has remained consistent in art making. Ann’s great artistry has seen several of her creative pieces sold widely with many of them found on the walls of diverse collectors. They can be seen in hospitals, restaurants, offices, banks and several other reputable institutions nationally. Some of these institutions include Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Besides her works being sold through her own channels, Ann also sells through other art dealers and distributors, ensuring that they reach far and wide. She co-created a book called "A Fairy's Child," a black and white photography book that was published by Harry Abrams in 2002. Ann is a multitalented artist who's gotten involved in diverse processes such as Platinum Printing, Polaroid manipulation, TTV, among several others.
