Ludmila Curilova was born in Kishenev, Moldova. Along with the skills taught to her by her father, she received formal art training at the College of Art in Kishenev. After graduation, she began building her reputation and ended up attracting a lot of interest and clients. Ludmila exhibited in several prominent Moldovian and Russian galleries, where her paintings had international appeal. The fact that she was raised in an atmosphere of artistic exploration made her to have an edge against other artists. Her art can be found in many private collections in Germany, Israel, France, the United States and Canada. The artist says her canvas is the "looking glass' through which she interprets and views the world. The canvas is also a means through which she responds to the world, expressing herself through subject, texture and color.
