Framed Ann Marie Coolick Wall Art

Ann Marie Coolick works from her home studio and she’s happy that this allows her the freedom and flexibility to paint whenever she has a free moment. Hailing from Arlington, VA, Ann is an impasto painter who focuses on expressionist landscapes and geometric abstractions and only uses palette knives and heavy body paints straight from the tube. Her day involves great measures in multi-tasking and time management. It usually starts with her sons shouting to the rooftops that they’re awake. She then quickly gets them ready for school while juggling emails and breakfast. She no longer runs for long distance, but she does her best thinking while doing light jogs. This is to prepare her for her painting works. However, she always gets the most painting done at night. She puts so many layers of paint onto the canvas until some paint spill over the edges. This results in a three-dimensional artwork with sculptural appearance. She is a graduate of Virginia Tech and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art and a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Management. Ann studied with Kass Ray, who is today an internationally acclaimed artist. Her audience has expanded so rapidly that framed Ann Marie Coolick art can be found in almost all corners of the world. Ann has signed with a fine art publisher and has had her work appearing in Home Goods. She has exhibited her art across the mid-Atlantic region, including one-person shows at the Hylton Center, the Center for the Arts in Manassas, and the Glen Allen Arts Center.
