Christine Cohen (Born 1943) was born and raised in Germany, and in 1945, she was two years old when the Second World War ended. Although quite a number of the most cherished elements of Picasso's art are not obvious in her current work, she always felt attached to Picasso's constant reinvention of himself. Christine’s professional education led to a clothing design career that took 20 years while she was in Hamburg, Germany. This is where she first worked as a designer before she worked as an editor for a top fashion magazine. She has exhibited at several locations among them Marin General Hospital, S. Eliseo, Greenbrae, California, Saint Francis Foundation, San Francisco, Poster Artist, Larkspur, Mill Valley Book Depot, Mill Valley, Citibank, Mill Valley, California, and Community Church of Congregation, Tiburon. Christine is a self-taught artist that’s why she has all the freedom to choose whichever style or technique she likes. She settled in the Bay Area in 1986 and this is where she was determined to turn her part-time love of making art into a full-time career. Inspired by one of her enthusiastic instructors and to make a sudden level of success to be stable through a mass production of Fine Art prints, she took up teaching herself, and in the process she discovered the great advantages of this noble profession. Christine believes that not only is there is an unmatched freedom in the instantaneous pleasure of being submerged in painting process, once she develops a flow, it goes beyond all inner strife and struggle. Framed Christine Cohen art are very common in many art stores.
