Framed Richard Clifton Wall Art

Richard Clifton (Born in 1961) was born in Delaware and he currently lives on a family farm next to the Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge. He gets much inspiration from the area where he lives. Clifton is a self-taught wildlife artist and he has chosen acrylics as his preferred medium. His art has been displayed in many of the leading wildlife art shows throughout the country. Some of these shows include the Easton Waterfowl Festival and the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition, to name a few. His art has appeared on tee-shirts, magazine covers, and a beer stein for the brewing company called Coors. His art has also been engraved on Ducks Unlimited’s shotguns, and other related products. His work has been selected many times for the NRA and the D.U. National Art Package as well. Furthermore, Clifton was named D.U. Artist of the Year in 2015 and appeared on their Television in an episode about his Wildlife Art, Waterfowl hunting and Conservation efforts on his farm. He’s chosen the traditional genre of waterfowl as his subject of choice or specialty. In 1996, Clifton was selected to paint Australian duck stamp and just a year later, he won the New Hampshire contest for the third time. Since 1991, he has received several awards including his first duck stamp contest. He has accumulated more than 20 state stamps in just 8 years—placing him 5th on the unprecedented duck stamp list for awards. Framed Richard Clifton art are very easy to recognize.
