Dan Campanelli (Born 1949) is a painter who was born in Bronx, New York. He started creating art as a teenager, painting and sketching buildings using mixed media. Campanelli later built his reputation as a watercolor painter, having several of his artistic works reproduced by New York Graphic Publishing Group. He’s known for his unrelenting portrayal of the American aesthetic delivered in their traditional form. Campanelli aptly uses his style to deliver paintings that reassert the unending beauty and simplicity of his subjects, something that makes his artistic works appeal to quite a wide audience. Together with his wife Pauline Campanelli, they lived in their home close to Finesville where Campanelli created several of his works for close to a quarter century. He covered subjects that were mainly close to his home, providing him with an opportunity to always stay close to them. Campanelli didn't stop art making even after his wife Pauline passed on in 2001. He continues to create art in Quakertown where he gets the subjects he needs. Quakertown still holds numerous elements of the 19th century, allowing him to capture subjects that resonate with the period. Campanelli's work was first published in print in 1986. The work, The Daily Beggars, became a top seller in America for close to half a decade. His creative pieces still sell widely and provide a great depiction of great historic sites. Campanelli's artistic works have been sold worldwide in diverse galleries and dealerships. There are also galleries that sell framed Dan Campanelli art while others sell them in other diverse finishing options.
