Fabien Bravin Art

Fabien Bravin lives in south west of France (Toulouse). He started photography in 2008 when he bought his first DSLR. Since then, his passion for photography has grown and has become a true addiction. Bravin is primarily captivated by macro-photography, and he tries to emphasize the nature’s poetry and its beauty in each picture he makes. Sometimes, he produces pictures straight from the camera with just little adjustments taking them as they come. But mainly, he processes his pictures to give them an attractive look with a deeper feeling, a particular atmosphere, like in a dream. After having taken a photograph, he turns it into a piece of art using image manipulation software. In terms of composition first, he tries to get as much as he can, and tries to get everything right before pressing the shutter button. This is to avoid as much as possible cropping the final picture. Bravin often finds his inspirations and motives right at his doorstep in the out of this world nature of southern France. The poetry and beauty of nature are the subjects of his art photos. Finally, his work in post-production mainly consists in playing with colors, just the same way as photographers who make black-and-white photographs. Bravin uses white balance and individual color cursors to adjust his images in a way that suit him. Ready to hang, framed Fabien Bravin art are found in all corners of the world.
