While it is unusual for two artists to work together, Leslie Bernsen and Connie Tunick are enthusiastic about their collaborative efforts and they have been working together for several years. As a result of their collaboration and passion, they decided to buy a press in July 1998 and opened their own studio in Newbury Park, California. This is where they now produce their art and serve their customers. The studio is aptly named “A Double Vision.” The pieces of art they create here reflect the vision of the two artists. Each of them creates half of every piece that finally bears the signature Bernsen/Tunick. They began their unique collaboration in January 1998 at a community college where they were attending a printmaking class. They are working together to ensure that their talents complement each other to better serve their clients. The two artists have dedicated themselves to painting full time and they do enjoy their work. They are members of many professional art organizations and have worked as professional artists for many years, during which time they have managed to produce several pieces of art and have also attended several workshops. Framed Bernsen/Tunick art are many collections and can be seen adorning the walls of many prestigious buildings around the globe. Bernsen paints in acrylics and works on large canvases. She on the other hand often incorporates collage into her work. Tunick's paints in watercolor and her themes are frequently nature oriented. The artists masterfully weave together their art materials to create their own one-of-a-kind pieces of art.
