Bill Bell started a career in music before he discovered painting. Since then, he has never looked back. He has now enjoyed painting for close to 30 years. Bell is a self taught artist who paints from memories and impressions of events, dreams, people, and places that have shaped his life. Bell uses his art as a means of communication. He believes that it’s through his artwork that the whole world can understand his inner feelings. His main aim is to communicate something that will touch the viewer. He works with acrylic because it allows him to work with the speed he needs to organize the clutter, concept, and color. Art gives him a lot of fulfillment and he takes it as a hobby rather than work because he enjoys every step of creating his images. Bell has been represented for years by galleries in Montreal, New York City, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
