Framed Becam Prints

At the heart of Carole Becam’s painting is renewal. Since her first pictorial essays, she has always strived to improve her technique and style to render a very delicate interpretation of matter and light. This form of expression allows her to translate color into something cherished, all relating to her only one of its kind worldview. She studied at the School of Fine arts of Rennes and currently exhibits her art regularly in many Caribbean and French galleries and in London at the Contemporary Art Salon. Since completing her painting studies at the Fine Arts School in Rennes, she’s has participated in many solo exhibitions and group exhibitions in France and beyond. She has exhibited at many places including Salon of the Ramparts St. Malo Mars, Gallery Paris-Berlin-seals, Rainbow Gallery Dinard, Gallery Art Circuit Rennes, FIAP Jean Monet Paris, Haitian ART Gallery, Haitian ART Gallery, The bike Gallery st. Malo, Gallery ARTEP -Saint Domingue, and Cloister Saint Louis, Gallery Papagayo, St Barthelemy Caribbean, to name just a few. What she produces is fed with movement, travel rich in learning and key meetings. In her abstract pieces, the artist creates contrasts between the colors and materials thanks to her mastery of oil painting. Carole lived in the Dominican Republic for close to 10 years before she returned to her home country to set up her studio in Loire-Atlantique, France (La Baule) in 2011.
