Joyce Bantock Art

Joyce Bantock was born in Edinburgh but was raised in Vancouver. She as been working as an artist for so many years and her work has reached many parts of the world. She first studied at Art College, and then proceeded for her bachelor’s degree at Ravensbourne College of Art and Design where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Textile Design. After graduation, she got a job in Great Portland Street, London where she worked at a design studio. She was good in design and working using her hand and was lucky that in those days, all designs were undertaken by hand on paper with gouache. Combing her talent and her education, she was able to produce stunning pieces of art that earned her repute. From her perspective, even though it was a difficult task, she liked it and was able to produce elegant art, and she also loved the hard deadlines imposed by the studio because she was hard-worker. The works she produces today show great talent in a more hands-on approach to pattern making. Her skills include Art, Fine Art, Visual Arts, Painting, and Drawing. Joyce currently works with Nick Bantock Author/Artist as an artist assistant. She has been working with him since 2000 and she confesses that she loves the work. The freedom and the friendly environment have given her an opportunity to exercise her creativity to the fullest.
