Hélène Bamberger (Born 1956) was born in Paris. She’s a photographer whose art has been exhibited in an array of museums and galleries. This French photographer started photography at the age of 23 and joined the Gamma2 photography agency at the age of 24. Her photographs capture the glamour and excitement of her subjects. In 1980, she met Marguerite Duras in Trouville-sur-Mer, France and the two started walking together every afternoon during which time, Hélène took photographs. Some places provided challenging environment in which to photograph but she always sought out the most advantageous viewpoints from which to shoot so as to get the best images. From 1980 she started exhibiting her work at the Centre Georges-Pompidou, and she held the exhibition there until 1983. In 1982 she became a freelance photographer, and in 1989 she founded Odyssey2 photography agency. Hélène’s pieces of art are found in numerous public and private collections. Her art sell in large numbers because they are of high quality and are attractive – especially the ready to hang Hélène Bamberger art. She likes photography and always feels at home when she’s behind the camera. She can’t think of doing any other thing apart from taking photographs. From 1980 to 1994, she worked closely with the "photography artist and writer" by photographing, people like Darrieussecq Marie or Jeanne Moreau3, Jean Echenoz, Ellroy, Modiano, and Deleuze, among others. The trade shows she has attended and participated in include Land of Islam, Tuareg, Momes, Jerusalem Sister, and Marguerite Duras, etc. Her art has been admired by many and this has made her to get many commissions.
