Álvaro Rozalén was born and raised in Spain. He knew from an early age that his career would be in the arts industry. Today, he’s a professional artist known for digital art and for drawings and paintings of pre-historic animals including pre-historic mammals and dinosaurs. He has continued to paint and produce illustrations for books, magazines and other publications. His paintings are mainly sold as framed Álvaro Rozalén art which come in different colors of frames to satisfy the varying needs of his clients. His art is also available in other finishing options and online as well. Today Rozalén’s art can be seen in several museums, galleries, institution and homes around the world. The artist is convinced that since the fossils of dinosaurs show that they were similar to birds, this similarity must have extended to their development and how they care for their young ones too. According to him the dinosaurs that look more like birds and have large brains might have taken very good care of their young ones. This could have been more so for the Troodonts, the smartest dinosaurs but with large brains; and they might have had elaborate social displays and complicated behaviors. All these factors are considered by Rozalén as he depicts these creatures. He uses this to try to show these animals in their natural environment and state so his clients can have a feel of how these animals lived and behaved. Rozalén’s art is highly priced by many discriminating collectors, especially those who love history.
