Marc Allante Art

Marc Allante is a self taught artist of French and Chinese descent based in Hong Kong. Allante merges European watercolor with traditional Chinese inks and pen techniques in a contemporary style that reflects the combination of his French-Chinese ancestry and brings it into a context that is modern. That has enabled his art to be sold worldwide. And given the fact that he has lived in Sydney, London and Hong Kong and being of French and Chinese heritage, his art is crafted from both these eastern and western influences. He has participated in many art exhibitions including Four Seasons, “Ces’t Noel which is an annual Charity for victim of cancer, Avenue Des Arts Gallery, “Urban Hacking”, Lambourghini Pop Up Museum, Slideluck, “Hong Kong I,” and Platform/Open Door, Hong Kong, just to mention a few. In 2012, Allante was been shortlisted in the Asia Contemporary Art Show as the Hong Kong Young Artist of the Year, and his art has been featured in various art, design blogs and news publications internationally, and by the Daily Mail and Huffington Post. Allante is represented by the Avenue Des Arts gallery in Hong Kong. He utilizes a variety of subject matter techniques and themes to expand the repertoire of his art and ink collection. Allante has completed a number of murals for the Maximal Group which operates several restaurants, and has exhibited in Brickhouse and Platform in Hong Kong.
