Patricia Adams Art

Patricia Adams (Born 1928) lives and is active in Vermont, California. From a young age, Patricia was able to produce very attractive images. Today, she has a network of loyal clients who are always waiting for her new art. Patricia attributes her success to her family, her teachers, and all those who encouraged and supported her, and above all, to her own determination and hard work. Her art, more so the framed Patricia Adams art, today adorn the walls of many prestigious buildings around the world. They are also part of many private and public collections. She’s an abstract painter who has traveled widely in pursuit of such studies to Egypt, Burma, Malta, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Thailand and Indonesia. She’s known for abstract imagery and is interested in prehistoric and sacred art. She grew up surrounded by the beauty of art. Most of her free time was spent ding art. She learnt a lot from her environment and she could use art materials from other artists to produce her own art. Since 1964, Patricia has taught painting at Bennington College in Vermont, and in New Haven, Connecticut at Yale University. Her primary home has been Bennington, Vermont. She has had several exhibitions which have been very successful. This has helped to promote her work and enabled her to attract a good number of prominent clients. She simply likes to create and that she recognizes opportunities to create in all areas of her interests. Patricia has served as critic and visiting artist and has taught seminars at the graduate level at several places including at the University of Iowa, Queens College, Kent State University, Western Kentucky University, the University of New Mexico, and Columbia University.
