Framed Wildflower Paintings
Wildflowers are just what they say they are; wild, yet artist are able to capture and tame them so that they can be enjoyed by all. Artists that create framed wildflower art are a wonderful group that brings colors and magic to the world of art. The possibilities of natural beauty they are able to find for subject matter is endless in this category.
Claude Monet was able to capture the beauty of wild water lilies in his painting “Water Lilies” which is still a very popular piece today. Pierre-Auguste Renoir made wildflowers a part of love when he painted “Picking Wildflowers” picturing a young gentleman picking flowers for his girl. This is a piece of framed wildflower artwork that is a part of art history.
Lowell Herrero had a great life that went through some tough days like the Great Depression and World War II. These never showed in his upbeat and happy art work for example, his rendition of the title “Picking Wildflowers”. His idea is to robust women in their aprons in a field amongst the wildflowers picking a bouquet which made for a great framed wildflower painting.
In 1907 Gustav Klimt painted on of the most well-known pieces of wildflower art titled “Field of Poppies”. The colors are magnificent and it would be impossible to count all the wildflowers that Klimt gives the world the pleasure of enjoying. The idea of wildflower art is wonderful because it allows some of nature’s beauty to be brought inside to be enjoyed no matter the weather outside.
