framed floral arrangement artwork. With flowers there are a plethora of colors, shapes, and varieties for artist to work with.
Vincent Van Gogh jumped on the idea of
floral arrangement paintings with his painting “Sunflowers” and his painting “Irises in a Vase”. Robert Furber is an artist from the past that created twelve glorious floral arrangements each one for a different month of the year. Each one has its own kind of flower and different colors to attract different art lovers.
Artist Jill Martin takes pastels and abstract to create glamorous works of art like her piece titled “Popcorn II”. The abstract painting brings together two vases of bouquets of various flowers. Anne Geddes even came on board with her talent and created a bouquet of babies in her piece “Potting Shed Babies”. The idea of floral arrangement art has been around for many years and Henri Matisse used in 1937 with his piece “Purple Robe and Anemones”. One of the best known floral arrangement pieces was done in 1895 by artist Pierre-Auguste Renoir and it is titled “Vase of Tulips and Anemones.” Marina Louw takes a simple sketch and adds some beautiful colors and creates wonderful works like “Bouquet I and II”.
