Native American Art

Native American Indians are the people who are indigenous to America prior to the settling of the colonies from Europe. Native American culture is a rich part of American history and many like to make that heritage a part of their art collections. There are several artists that celebrate this culture to create lovely and moving pieces of Native American art. Each artist uses their own unique style to present the Native American Indian culture in their own way.

The horse was a very prized possession to Native Americans since they provided transportation, a way to hunt and, if necessary, a food source. This is way a lot of Native American Indian art contains this brilliant animal. Another common theme among Native American artwork is pottery. Intricate pottery that depicts myths, legends and various delicate designs is often featured prominently in native American framed art.
