Sharon Weiser is a Wisconsin-based artist who loved art from her childhood. She used to draw, paint and sketch on anything she could lay her hands on. Several years later, what started as a hobby has translated into a full-time career. Sharon received K-12 teaching certificate and BFA from the University of Wisconsin. Apart from painting, she taught in the Art and Design Department at the University of Wisconsin for 2 years. She was dealing with courses such as Any level Painting, Beginning Painting, Color Theory and Drawing. In late 2011 Sharon moved back to the Midwest where she opened a studio in Stillwater, MN. Sharon has won many awards which can be attributed to her mature sense of design, diligent attention to detail, versatility of subject and bold use of color. The awards she has won include those from The Artist’s and the American Artist magazines. Sharon is a juried member of the Scottsdale Artists League, Sonoran Arts League and the Arizona Art Alliance. Her clients include Best Western, Quality Inn, Ramada Inn, Holiday Inn, Days Inn, and the Island and Coral Princess Cruise Ships. She has completed many commercial design projects including Public Space Art and Room Art. Sharon strives to capture the true essence of ordinary places and objects because she’s keen to detail. Her clients hire her with a goal in mind to acquire her original piece of artwork for their home that they know they will be able to cherish for a lifetime.
