Vlad Gerasimov (Born 1981), is the artist behind Vlad Gerasimov/Stocktrek Images. He was born in a family of artists. His father and older brother are programmers, so at an early age, he had access to very early computers. However, he did not use computers for design until his brother needed designing help in 1999. Gerasimov has a unique style of illustration, with simple shapes and lines. His works have great themes, promising to win the hearts of viewers and make them happy. He runs a studio in Irkutsk, Russia which specializes in creating wallpapers for mobile devices and computers. Because he’s a home-based worker, Gerasimov spends most of day at home, sitting with his MacBook Pro. He replies to e-mails of his clients and website visitors, maintains and improves his website, and of course, he always draws something in Photoshop. While working for various clients, he played with Photoshop and created artworks, just as a pastime. In the process, he learned Photoshop a bit and started making interfaces (icons, skins, other graphics for software). Many of his clients love how he designs the beautiful wallpapers. The designs have great themes, are detailed, have lovely colors and are proportionate. Gerasimov likes to draw things that skip the viewers’ brain and go straight to their hearts.
