Nicole Tamarin Art

Nicole Tamarin is an Illustrator and a Licensing Artist from Worcester MA. She’s always loved working with her hands; from interior design, to sewing, to crafts. Sometimes it has seemed like she’d had a bad case of Art ADD. Her primary medium of choice is watercolor which she’s been creating in for more than 15 years. Nicole attended Mass College of Art thinking she’d be an illustrator of children’s books, but it wasn’t until she started creating art for Licensing that she realized her true passion. Nicole adores decorative elements and details whether she’s painting children’s characters or florals or original lettering. It has taken her some time to realize that it was okay to just make things which are pretty. Today, she’s a freelance illustrator and recently found her way into surface design and licensing. Although much of her work is done digitally, every piece still begins as a traditionally painted watercolor, which has been her medium of choice for several years. The artist is drawn to imagery and classic themes ranging from children’s characters to delicate florals. Her style is noted by its exceptional attention to detail and constant level of polish, no matter what the subject matter. Framed Nicole Tamarin art are produced using high quality materials which make them the first choice for many collectors. Her art can be found on flip flops, electronic skins, fabric, wall art, invitations and stationary. She also has a line of greeting cards called Gelato which just came out in 2013, and which will include 43 designs.
