Framed David Rottinghaus Wall Art

David Rottinghaus grew up on his parents' farm in rural North Iowa together with his 6 brothers and sisters. He paints and draws from memories he held onto from childhood. The farms he paints today along with the stories those pieces of art tell, continue to attract many collectors. The collectors have also been attracted to his series titled “Young Entrepreneur Series”, which has raised thousands of dollars, as well as his Christmas series. His work reflects the agricultural pride and spirit of rural America. His original artwork has been displayed at the Agricultural Hall of Fame in Kansas, the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, and in more than forty private and public collections. As Rottinghaus continues with his inspirations, his client base continues to expand. Over the past few years, the artist has supported many non-profit organizations. He has donated many limited edition prints for fundraising purposes. The organizations that have benefited are the Girl Scouts of North Iowa, Newman Catholic Schools, Duck’s Unlimited, Pioneer Public Television of Minnesota, and Pheasants Forever. Also Rottinghaus has helped many families with children having terminal illnesses. In 2000/2001 alone he raised over $40,000 for these organizations and families; much of that was direct cash donations from sales of his limited edition prints. Sales from framed David Rottinghaus art have been increasing over the years. The artist was chosen by US Art magazine as one of the nations Artists to Watch. He was also honored by Heritage Art Show as the featured artist in the 1996.
