André Renoux (Born 1939) was born in Oran, Algeria. He fell in love with art at a very young age, and when he moved to Paris, its landscapes became his second love. He paints the more intimate landmarks of daily life and not the grand architectural monuments of Paris. Renoux was so much fascinated with Paris city-scapes and his style is compared to that of Utrillo, who too had the same fascination. Many people refer to the good old days, but Renoux thought those were actually the tomorrow’s good old days. His lithographs and paintings capture the charisma of Old Paris in a style that’s natural charged with obvious affection.  Many publishers, exhibitions and collectors have continued to take note of his art, and it’s not a surprise that the demand for his art has been growing over the years. His art, mainly in the form of framed André Renoux art, has adorned the walls of many prestigious buildings and spaces for many years. His art has been exhibited across the country is a source of inspiration to many upcoming artists. He was regarded as one of the national treasures France and it became a home for him, capturing the beauty of Paris, and its smells, sounds, textures and tastes - just as the viewer would imagine and experience them on their own. Many collectors stock a large number of his art because their demand is high. He died in Paris in 2002 and is still regarded as one of the leading artists in France.
