Ros Oesterle has been in the arts industry for several years. During the last few years, the non-objective or abstract aspect of her work has continued to dominate as a design theme with only a suggestion of the original subject matter. This has resulted in artistic expression that allows both the artist and viewer a new dimension of communication and discovery. Ros has received many awards including those of the Mystic Art Festival, the Westport Art Festival, and The Glastonbury Art Show in 2006. She received First Place in Watercolor and the Best in Show awards. In 2007 she was the featured artist in The Armonk Magazine in their Summer Edition. In 2013, she won top awards at the Mystic, Westport & Bruce Museum art festivals. Ros is a graduate of Skidmore College where she majored in art. After that she proceeded to Columbia University to continue her education and studied painting and drawing. Ros believes that learning is a continuous process. So she attended several workshops with several well-known watercolorists such as Don Andrews, Claude Croney, and Ed Whitney among others. Her work has been shown at the Blue Heron Gallery in Wellfleet, MA, and in many other galleries. Her paintings have been reproduced for more than 3 decades and have been sold throughout Europe and the United States. Ros art in general and framed Ros Oesterle art in particular have caused a lot of excitement among art collectors. Some collectors have placed a high price tag on them due to their great demand. Her paintings have been exhibited in the juried shows of The National Arts Club, Audubon Artists, The Salmagundi Club, the Hudson Valley Art Association, The Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, and the American Watercolor Society.
