Framed Heather A. French-Roussia Wall Art

Award-winning artist Heather French-Roussia is known for her love of still life painting. She says still life helps her create narratives by using objects. She’s a graduate of both Parsons School of Design in NYC and at Atlanta College of Art where she majored in portrait painting. She then proceeded to the University of Pennsylvania where she earned her master’s degree in Fine Art. After her graduation, she started to practice as a still life painter. She has received many honors and achievements including Painter of holiday images for King Estate Winery, Oregon, The Charles Adams Memorial Award, Painter of limited edition label, Lakeridge Winery, etc. In 2009-2010, se was also Featured guest artist aboard Disney Cruise Lines. Heather’s art celebrates spirits, beer, food, and, wine, as well as cigars, vegetables, flowers, felines and golf. It is not self-indulgent, but represents the simple joy of that which is, appreciated, played or otherwise consumed. She says that it’s a lifestyle; that’s the easiest way to put it. “A little golf, food or wine sets aside parts of people’s lifestyles. It’s what they enjoy,” she says. Her appreciation for beverage and fine food has grown over the years, not least because of Dino Roussia, her husband, a sommelier who is a frequent lecturer at the Epcot festival. Framed Heather French-Roussia art adorn the walls of many galleries and art museums. She has painted for Wente Winery in California, the King Estate Winery in Oregon, and Lakeridge Winery in Florida. She has also worked with the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival at Walt Disney World as the official poster artist.
