Bob Coonts is a respected artist whose works are greatly influenced by Mythology, Nature, Native American, Middle Eastern, Celtic, Asian, Roman, and Greek. His colorful paintings cover several different subjects, including people, landscapes, plants and animals. Coonts keenly studies the works of other artists, borrowing from them to create his own. He particularly likes the works of artists such as Juan Miro, Henri Matisse, and Marc Chagall. To create his artistic works, Coonts employs diverse geometric shapes, combining them in different sizes and color shades. His use of color is also influenced by Fauvists’ approach to color use.
