Framed Connie Begg Wall Art

Connie Begg studied at Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, SF, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and DeYoung Museum, San Francisco. She also studied photography at the City College of San Francisco, SF. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography & Art History from San Francisco State University, SF, and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Mills College in Oakland, CA. Currently, she’s the Associate Director & Photography Instructor (Graduate Level) at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco. She started her teaching career as a Teaching Assistant at SFSU, SF, where she taught Alternative Photo Processes. She has also conducted Alternative Photo Workshops in San Francisco. From 1999 she’s been working for Polaroid Corporation as a Creative Uses Consultant. From 1999 to 2006, she worked with City College of San Francisco as a Photography Instructor, where she dealt with Intermediate B/W, Beginner B/W, Photo History and Pinhole Photography. She maintains a darkroom and an art studio in the Bayview district of SF. She’s a fine art photographer who specializes in alternative photographic processes. Some of the places she has exhibited at include Root Division, San Francisco, Northlight Gallery, Phoenix, Flash Gallery, Lakewood, Galeria Tonantzin, Tilt Gallery, Phoenix, PhotoPlace Gallery, Middlebury, Rayko Photo Center, San Francisco, to name but a few. Framed Connie Begg art are found in many private and public collections and have been exhibited internationally, nationally and locally. She’s a member of the Society for Photographic Education, Graduate Review Committee, Digital Integration Committee, Evaluation Committee for Part-time Instructors, among others.
