Peggy Abrams began painting in oils as a teenager, although she started sketching as a toddler. Her family appreciated her artistic endeavors and provided her with all the support she needed to enhance her artistic skills and to produce her art through posters and prints. Living in Michigan, Peggy’s mother saved pieces of paper for her to use for her drawings. She mainly drew her inspiration from the Victorian era, capturing large hats, old dolls, and lace. These elements have lived in her creative pieces and significantly characterize her paintings of Victorian Santas, accessories, and flower arrangements that she's famous for today. Besides these paintings, she also creates Christian art, gardening images as well as posters and prints. Peggy continues her art making works and is currently living happily with her husband and their three children who've blessed them with two grand children. She's committed to supporting organizations that help children such as The Whealey Children's House, taking her spare time to donate her artwork to such initiatives. Peggy signed a deal with Bentley Publishing Group that saw her artwork get widely publicized, giving her national recognition in the years that followed. This was further accelerated by her March 1994 introduction of her Christmas line of art. Her works are available in diverse galleries and high profile collections. They’ve been widely sold in their originals and have also been licensed for reproduction as prints and canvas. Laminated and framed Peggy Abrams art are also available in these galleries among other art dealerships.
