Framed Ombre Prints
The term ombre has become popular over the last couple of years. Ombre refers to colors that eventual fade into each other, but the colors go from a light to dark tone or vice versa. Framed ombre art is a great example for painters that want to use the method in their works. It is perfect for those making a monochrome painting.
Since the start of the modern art period, many artists have use monochrome techniques. It is mainly used in abstract art, but artists have used the technique beforehand. Pablo Picasso used it famously during his blue period since there were shades of blue in every panting that the artist made during that time period. Framed ombre art prints follows this tradition.
Some painters use the ombre technique similarly to a monochrome technique. They use one color in their image but they use different shades of the same color. For example, a painter could just use the color red in their image like it is a monochrome work. But there will be an obvious difference since the ombre technique will change the color tone from dark to light or vice versa.
Despite its similarities to a monochrome painting technique, ombre is its own method. Ombre art paintings uses one color tone for an image that either lightens or darkens as the image goes on. While there are some paintings that uses ombre in multiple colors, for the most part, it is used in many monochrome paintings and designs.
